Close More Sales! - Hinkle Manufacturing, Inc.
Based on their web site's intended purpose as a sales prospecting and customer
relationship tool, Toledo based Hinkle Manufacturing, Inc.( www.hinklemfg.com)
asked ViewSource Media to extend the site to include a tool that would increase
their sales reps' productivity and leverage the competitive advantage of over
40 years design expertise. Understanding Hinkle's communications intent with
current and prospective customers, ViewSource Media designed a solution that
replaced the inefficient manual process of preparing, personalizing and
disseminating pre-sales prospect literature with a web based tool.
Hinkle's desire was derived from a marketing communications industry practice
referred to as "1:1 marketing" in which mailers, flyers, collaterals,
brochures, announcements can easily be personalized by adding images, graphics,
and text specific to the recipient. The term 1:1 marketing means many things to
many people so prospective buyers of these solutions must understand that the
right 1:1 solution for their business is one that is based on your specific
business processes and sales cycle rather than what a vendor wants to sell you.
Hinkle got exactly what it needed no more – no less and it was custom built to
their specifications.
