ViewSource Internet Expert Sought for Cincinnati Enquirer Article on Hackers
(Cincinnati, OH -- Feb. 10, 2000) -- Brett Wernicke, senior application
developer at ViewSource Media, was interviewed by The Cincinnati Enquirer for
an article on hackers who earlier this week attacked Web sites run by CNN, MSN,
eBay, Amazon and ZDNet. The article appeared today on the front page of the
newspapers business section.
"Spamming a companys computer into submission severs the eCommerce
lifeline to paying customers and is clearly a criminal act that should have
serious consequences," said Wernicke. Prior to working at ViewSource
Media, Wernicke developed the online taxation Web site for Minnesotas
state government. He worked closely with programmers and state government
officials to ensure security of tax records.
