ViewSource’s Robin Kane Guest on WVMX-FM
(Cincinnati, OH -- May 31, 2000) -- Robin Kane, senior producer and project
manager at ViewSource Media, appeared on WVMX-FM’s "Kimberly and Carson
Show" during morning drive time today. Kane discussed the opportunities
the Web presents women and encouraged listeners to join Webgrrls, a women’s
professional organization with more than 100 chapters throughout the world.
Kane was a featured speaker at the Cincinnati Webgrrls’ April meeting on
"Creating Killer Web Sites." She has been a member of the
organization, which was founded in 1995, since 1997.
Webgrrls is devoted to increasing women’s participation in the Internet economy.
According to a survey documented in the March 22, 2000, issue of Computerworld,
women Internet users have tripled in the past two-and-a-half years to 49
percent.
